Polyhouse in the University of Agricultural Sciences

This beautiful polyhouse in the University of Agricultural Sciences measure 300 square metre in area .

It is being used to conduct several cutting edge experiments in the inside with controlled conditions.

On the outside too an experiment is planned.

Rainwater falling on the poly house will be picked up in a sump tank. It is expected that nearly 279,000 litres of water falls on the rooftop. With a 27,000 litre sump tank we hope to capture at least 200,000 litres of rainwater..

This will provide 548 litres of water daily for irrigation with minimum use of power and no exteranl source except rain.
The rainwaterclub help set up the design.
